Local Landlady, Isobel Marley, The Roods, Inverkeithing is among 20 finalists in the AA Landlady of the Year competition.

Nominees were chosen from more than 3,500 AA recognised establishments and short listed by inspectors.

“The competition highlights the importance of the B&B business which represents a large proportion of the UK’s tourism market” says Albert Hampson, AA Hotel Services business manager.

“The people who have reached the final are those who recognise that running a B&B isn’t just about providing a bedroom and making breakfast the next day. It takes care, consideration, effort and dedication to be successful and all 20 finalists have these qualities. They are all Winners”

All finalists will be invited to a ceremony in The Dorchester Hotel, London on May 11 where they will all receive a Caithness inscribed bowl and certificate. <...>
